his son salman qadir expresses his feeling on death of his father:
“My father never had a heart problem so it was sudden and shocking that he suffered a severe attack and could not survive,”
“The PCB is shocked at the news of ‘maestro’ Abdul Qadir’s passing and has offered its deepest condolences to his family and friends.”
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed his grief” on the death of legend.
DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Abdul Ghafoor tweeted. he quoted the COAS as saying:
“Pakistan has lost a great sportsman and a human being. May Allah bless his soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen,”
IMRAN KHAN prime minister of pakistan said "he was asset for pakistan and we lost him"
Wasim Akram, Moin Khan, Rashid Latif and Waqar Younis also said that Qadir’s death was “a great loss of Pakistan cricket”.
WASIM AKRAM the lagendary cricketer of pakistan said:
“his death is uncompensated loss for pakistan as he was like an institution for us and above all for new cricketers" wasim played alongside him in 1980s.
